Tuesday Treasures with Melody from The House on the Side of the Hill is back for 2013. This year Tuesday Treasures will be a monthly event. I think I'll be able to find a treasure to share once a month.
My treasure is My Learn to Cook Book. It is the first cook book in my now quite large collection. My parents gave it to me for one of my birthdays. I think I was six or seven.
In the days before fairy cakes (or patty cakes) become known as cupcakes!

A lovely package arrived yesterday. It was from Sandi of A Legacy of Stitches. Some lovely Christmas fabric from Jacquelynne's (The Noble Wife) range. Thank you Sandi.
How fabulous to still have this book and I bet it does bring back lots of memories. No wonder you are such a great cook, starting so young.
