We headed off to Altona Beach last night for a picnic tea.
It was about 10 degrees cooler there than at home.
All the kids went for a swim. I did wear my new bathers but as the temperature was now below 30oC it was
too cold for me to go in! LOL!
There was the obligatory cricket match.

The sky was amazing and as time went on,
the sunset was gorgeous (sorry, no photo).
After another stinking hot day today (44oC), there were plans to go back to Warrandyte for a swim in the river. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm came so everyone stayed home in the cooling and I went down to quilting.
Another 44 degree day is predicted for tomorrow!
You are sweltering and we are freezing - hope you find some coolness today.
