Bloggy Friends Get Together!

Yesterday I headed up to the Patchwork Tea House in Wartburton for our Bloggy Friends Get Together. Melody of The House On The Side Of The Hill arranged this meeting so we could get to meet Michelle from Rag-Tag Stitchin'. Michelle has been travelling from Queensland via the Northern Territory, South Australia and made a detour to Melbourne so we could all meet. Melody's son Sam took Michelle's husband Gary off to Puffing Billy for the day so that we could have Michelle all to ourselves!
We had a lovely time sitting, chatting and eating.
I had the yummy scones with jam and cream for lunch.
Rosalie, Michelle, Marina, Tracey, Liz, Melody, Bronwyn and me. It was such a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. I had to leave a bit earlier than everyone else as I had a wedding to head to.
Michelle had made us all a gorgeous gift and added a lovely wooden painted button. She was also kind enough to give us each two stitchery patterns designed by her. I'm looking forward to stitching those.
These are two felt brooches I made,
one for Michelle and one for Melody.

Thank you Melody for organising this lovely get together. Thank you girls for the lovely time spent together.
And a big thank you to Michelle for detouring your trip so we could all meet.

  1. Lovely to meet up with you again! It was a shame you had to leave early. Maybe they could have postponed the wedding by a few hours.
