The Celebrating Goes On!

Last night my NOTY friends and I went out for dinner at a local Thai restaurant. Clockwise from the left is Jennifer (Csorba Interactions), Debby, me, Libby (Boot Camp Quilter), Anita (Hillside Quilting), Simone V, Jenni, Claire (Matching Pegs) and Simone M (Quilts n Cats). Unfortunately, Mel was unwell and couldn't join us.
Simone V had made a beautiful, rich chocolate cake. I had to wait for the sparklers to die down before I could blow the candles out as I didn't want to singe my hair. They were the longest sparklers I have ever seen.
The girls gave me this present wrapped up beautifully in this lovely fabric. I have roughly re-wrapped it for photographic purposes (forgot to take a photo last night).
Inside was this box. And inside the box was..........
Two bundles of Scrumptious!

I had fallen in love with this range and was waiting
for it to come out. I never dreamed that I would
ever have the whole range.
I think I'll look at it and pat it for a while
until I decide what to make with it.
That is if I can bring myself to cut them up! LOL!

Thank you girls for making my birthday so special.

  1. Oh my goodness, what a wonderful gift. It's such a good feeling to have friends who know exactly what to get you. Will you be able to open the packages?

  4. Beautiful. Now you need to unwrap it from the plastic so it can breath and you can play with it! :o) Then restack it, tie some string around it and admire it all over again. hugs
