Do you remember early in the year, Austin started
his VCAL course in Automotive Studies?
Yesterday, Austin went for an interview for a
School Based Apprenticeship for a Heavy
Vehicle Mechanic (Diesel Mechanic). He was offered an apprenticeship there and then. How exciting is that!
Austin will be working at the City of Whittlesea - Works Department in Epping. He will go there one day a week, attend TAFE another day and the other three days he will be at school. Austin will be working on large trucks, tractors, street sweepers and cars, so he'll have a great variety.
Congratulations, Austin!
