Clayton's Christmas - What I sent!

I sent my Clayton's Christmas gift to Helen.
This is the ornament I made for her.
Keeping with a gold and white theme, I sent Helen a
gold and white Christmas fat quarter.
I added some Christmas tree and star buttons
and some yummy Lindt chocolate.

Thanks again to the No Fuss Swappers
girls for this great swap.

A Clayton's Christmas!

Today was opening day for our No Fuss Swappers Clayton's Christmas Swap. We had to send four items:
a Christmas decoration, Christmas fat quarter,
Christmas button/s and a small treat.
De from Re-DE-Zines sent me my gift.
Look at the beautiful decoration she made me.
De was very clever and made my button
after stitching a little Christmas hat.
Isn't this the cutest fabric! I haven't seen this one before.
My small treat is a Toblerone. Yum!

Thank you for my lovely gifts, De.
Thank you also to Sandi, Teresa, Helen and Nor
for organising this fun swap.

I'll show you what I sent to Helen in another post.

Friday Night Sew-In

Last night I worked on the snowman of my shabby Christmas Bunting from Jenny's Stitchery Club
This is a bit of a pick up put down project.
Thanks to Wendy for hosting us for FNSI.
You can see what the others got up to here.

The Washing Was Hung!

I've made my Gentle Domesticity "Washing"
block into a mini for my stand.

This is my favourite block from Jenny's

I fussy cut the borders. That little dog is just like Molly as she stands by me when I am hanging the washing out.
.
This fabric had been in my stash for quite a long time.
It is called "Domestic Goddesses".
How perfect for my little quilt! I have also used this
for a peg bag I made myself a long time ago.

Cup Of Tea Anyone?

I stitched this sweet little teapot house
and put it into a hoop for a gift.

This is one of Jenny's Stitchery Club designs.
I think it's turned out rather nice.

Friday Night With Friends and A New Car!

Last night I joined Cheryll and the girls for
FNWF down at Mum and Dad's.
After a yummy dinner of fish and chips,
I managed to get a little stitching done.
I worked on my Gentle Domesticity Block.
This morning Austin picked up his new car. Now for the long wait until October when he turns 18 and can get his licence! Certainly nothing like my first car - a Morris 1100!

OPAM for June

Time to report for OPAM again. Once again I only have one
finished project to show. I have a couple of things finished in the wings but can't show you them yet.
It's actually been nice just slowly working on different projects without having deadlines to finish them.
This is my year of slow stitching!
The tea towel I made for Jan for the No Fuss Swappers Kitchen Kapers swap. I can't believe I didn't take a
photo of the tea towel on it's own!

Thanks to Peg and Kris for keeping us inspired.
