Now all the secret sewing has been revealed, my December's OPAM is looking good! I finished off with 13 finishes.

That's nine items more than last year.

Many thanks to Peg and Kris for keeping me motivated.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year. I'm looking forward to more fun and bloggy friendship in 2014!

My Santa Sack Gifts for Anna!

Now to show you what I sent to Anna
 in our Santa Sack Swap.

A project folder.
I used the Stitcher's Alphabet pattern by Michelle Ridgeway and used Cottage Garden Threads "Larkspur".
Isn't it so pretty!

Inside the folder was a pattern, fabric,
frixion pen and DMC thread.
A fat quarter bag, thread catcher/pin cushion,
needle case, scissors and fob.
Candle mat with a spinning candle holder.
Covered hangers with matching shoe bag.
A wall hanging.
I used DMC varigated red for this stitchery.

Mini Christmas cushion, stocking ornament and
bon bon filled with candy canes.
I really enjoyed putting Anna's Santa Sack together.
It was lovely getting to know you, Anna and
I'm looking forward to us catching up soon.

Thank you to Cheryll (Gone Stitchin'
for organising this great swap.

Under The Tree and Some Other Gifts!

In our Six Items Christmas Swap, we had to send one gift to go under the tree. This is the hanging I made for Chez.
A low calorie cake stand!
This is what I found under the tree from Carol.
A beautiful table runner, along with some coasters, made in my favourite Bonnie and Camille fabrics. Thank you Carol.
Once the Christmas table topper is packed away,
I'll be putting this on the table.
Thank you to Tracee at Quilt Kitty Loves Life. Tracee sent me this gorgeous vintage sewing machine decal for my car. I'll have to get the boys to wash the car and then I'll put it on. Maybe I'd better do it myself or I could be
waiting a long time! LOL!
Sisbabe sent me this gorgeous little Christmas hat ornament. Thank you Sisbabe. My Blogging Friends Christmas tree is getting quite full. I just might have to
buy a bigger one for next year!
The boys were very excited when this dvd arrived in the mail. I won it on Anorina's (Samelia's Mum) blog in a recent giveaway. Thank you Anorina.

Santa Sack Swapping With Anna!

As Anna and I only live 10 minutes from each other, we had organised to meet to exchange our gifts. We had both decided we would like to wait until Christmas Day to open them. Unfortunately, I was then unable to make it. Anna was good enough to drop her gifts to me and pick up my gifts to her so that we would both have them on Christmas Day. We both opened our sack parcels and have put the rest away under the tree.
This is the beautiful bag Anna made for me.
How cute is this teddy!
I love the little Christmas reel and hearts.
Don't they look lovely there on the hexagons!
All of these gifts are now in my bag. I think Anna forgot how to count! There was supposed to be six presents! LOL!

Thank you for my lovely bag Anna. Now the hard part is waiting for Christmas Day to see what else is there! LOL!
This is the bag I made for Anna. Anna wanted me to surprise her with either a Christmas bag or an everyday bag.
I decided to make this bag for everyday use but chose Christmassy colours. The red is no where as bright as the photo shows and the jade is a bit deeper.
No matter how I tried, I couldn't get a good photo.
You may recognise this Michelle Ridgeway pattern as one I have made before (see this post).
My other presents in Anna's bag,
at least what fitted in! LOL!

Of course, there is one more gift "For Under the Tree".
You'll just have to wait to see what it is.

I hope you enjoy your gifts, Chez.
I really enjoyed putting your parcel together.
A special thank you to Fiona (Bubz Rugz) who sent me one of her lovely little tree ornaments.
It is now hanging on my special tree!

Can you believe that it's the 1st December!
That means it's time for November's OPAM.

Sewing For Friends!

These are the pouches I made for Shez, Mel, Barb and Sharon for our Mill Rosie get together. I tried to match fabrics to the kind each one likes.
Shabby chic for Shez.
Mel loves her French General.
Of course, it had to be red and white for Barb!
It was a bi trickier for Sharon as she loves so many different types. So I chose this more modern fabric for her.

So there you have it. Four more items for my OPAM!
