A Couple of Hound Dogs!

Now that they have been gifted,
I can finally share these hound dogs.
I made them for our two favourite little neighbours,
Bernard and Eugene.

Made for their first birthday.
I made them at Scrub Stitchin'.
The boys were lucky to get them as they were
kidnapped, or should that be dognapped,
by naughty Jenny
Jenny hid them behind this quilt.

 Bernard.

 Eugene.

Two Dolls and a Hound Dog!

I've finally had a chance to take photos of the toys.

 Autumn's doll.

Madelyn's doll.

Zavier's hound dog.

Don't you just love the hound dog!
Now all the kids presents are ready for wrapping.

More Christmas Gifts

I've made Santa sacks for the two new baby girls in the
family and one for Nelson's girlfriend.
I just love these Australian animal Christmas fabrics.

A candle mat using Fee's design from the Tilda Lovers Club.
I managed to fluke getting the bees in just the right spot for the candle.
Didn't even think about placement when cutting them out.
Nelson's girlfriend Jemma loves avocados so I made her an avocado apron!
I finally finished stuffing the dolls and hound dog
but haven't stitched up the gaps yet.
You'll have to see them next time.

Softies and FNWF

Last night I finished my two soft toys for two special little girls
for their birthdays. The doll is for now 4 year old Thea
and the cat Billie's for her first birthday.
Hope it's not too long before I can see them to give their gifts.
I gave Thea's doll red hair like Auntie Christine's! LOL!

It was a bit of a learning curb making these but
I'll know what to do next time to make it easier.
Even with the hiccups, I enjoyed making them.
Thanks to the lovely Chez for hosting us.

A Dolphin!

The little girl who used to live next door is now all grown up and expecting her first baby in a few weeks
Both Hope and Tim love the beach and I thought a dolphin would be perfect for their soon to be born baby boy.
Now to wait for his big entrance!

Bee Happy!

You may remember this fabric from earlier this year.
Then I gave you a little sneak peek.
Well, I made a little bee!
To go with this baby quilt for the baby my nephew and
his wife were expecting. They weren't finding out whether they were having a boy or girl and told me they were
doing the nursery yellow and grey.
We now have a new Great Niece/Second Cousin,
Thea Alexandra.
I have to admit, I was really out of my comfort zone
working with these fabrics. All a bit too modern for me!
But I'm pleased with how it turned out.
