Knickers!

Miss Rosie finally has a pair of knickers!

 No more flashing for her!

She is quite happy to show them off!

Catching Up!

It's now March and I haven't posted any finishes
but I have been working on a few things.
I actually finished Kade's Hound Dog back in
January but waited until I gave it to him.
This is a little Tilda heart in memory of Catherine,
one of the lovely members of the Tilda Lovers Club
and Kitty Rose Cottage Community Facebook
groups who recently passed away.
Dawn (Kitty Rose Cottage) organised for
members to make hearts and they were given
out to some family and friends to be
placed on her coffin as a gesture of
love and remembrance from her on-line friends.
At our recent Chit Chat Crafters stitching day,
we all worked on a little project.
A diamond dots purse. It was quite relaxing.
I've also been working on a baby quilt for a
special little girl due in a couple of months.
My long neglected hexagon
quilt has finally seen the light of day
and a little progress has been made on it.

This is my first large applique quilt.
It's now with my lovely quilter Leanne
who is going to work her magic on it.
Finally, some felt ornaments.
I'm not putting them together as per the pattern
but have something else in mind.

So, although I've only had 3 little finishes,
I have been working on other projects.
Hopefully, I can show you the finished items soon.

Kade's 1st Birthday!

Yesterday our beautiful boy Kade turned one!
The past year has been wonderful watching
him grow and develop his personality.
Last week we had Kade's First Rodeo.
There were hobby horses instead of
lolly bags for the kids.
A time capsule where everyone wrote special
messages to be opened by Kade when he turns 18.
The many faces of Kade!
Paris made this cute Hairy Coo
(Highland cow) cake just for Kade.

He really enjoyed himself and
I think this was his first sugar hit!

 With Mum and Dad.

And Poppy and Grannie.
Kade just loved the soft play area.
He didn't want to leave it.

 How cute is Kade's hat!
Of course I had to make Kade a Hound Dog!
I think he likes it!
It was a much quieter celebration
yesterday with the immediate family.
