Friday Night Sew-In

Last night I joined the girls for the first FNSI of 2023.
I hand stitched the zip in on my new vintage style dress.
I'm off to my sewing room now to finish putting it together.
Only the side seams and hem to go!

Thank you to Wendy from Sugarlane Designs for
hosting us again this year and thank you to Dawn
from Kitty Rose Cottage who is again sponsoring FNSI.

Putting zips is not my favourite part and always glad when done. Pretty fabric.

The fabric for your dress is gorgeous! Oh how I hate adding zips! xx

Perfect fabric for your dress but I'm surprised you are hand sewing the zipper?

I'm so impressed with that zip! It's my least favorite part of dressmaking! The dress turned out just beautifully! xx

Christine, you probably don't remember me but I remember you from several years ago when I participated in this group. I lost my son and dropped out of everything for quite awhile but I am back in the world again and once again enjoying creating.
I love your dress. The fabric is stunning!
