Friday Night Sew-In

My project for the night was stitching the
binding down on Nelson's new quilt.
Continued stitching yesterday at NOTYQ's Guild meeting until
my fingers got too sore. I just can't use a thimble!
Thanks to Wendy for hosting us Friday night.
You can see what others got up to here.

Binding is always a good sitting in front of a screen job.

A nice job to get out of the way while watching TV or chatting. xx

Like you I can’t use a thimble either but often out one of the tiny sticky dots on.
Did you get all the binding done?

I like sewing on the binding of a quilt, it's very satisfying! The quilt is looking lovely. Hugs Christine xx

I just love hand sewing binding on. It's mindless, a great TV-watching project, and it means you're almost finished! Three cheers!

Binding is a great relaxing thing to do but it hard on the fingers.

I gave up hand-sewing my bindings. My hands and eyes couldn't handle it anymore. Now I'm a fan of machine sewing my bindings. They look nearly as good and take a fraction of time.
