2012 Santa Sack Swap from Simone!

Where do I start! My partner in the 2012 Santa Sack Swap was Simone from Quilting is My Down Time and boy, did she spoil me! You can see how full my sack was. We both decided to wait until Christmas Day to open our sacks. Yesterday, I definitely got to open more presents than the boys did! LOL!
A little bag full of choccies!
 A lovely body care set.
Sewing things with a chicken theme.
How cute are those buttons!
 Coasters.
 Covered journal.
Crocheted hangers. I love covered hangers!
Drawer liners,  fragrant drawer sachet and a wardrobe fragrance hanger.
 Hand towel.
Cupcake magnets and the cutest ladybug pegs.
 Mug bag.
And inside a lovely mug filled with chocolates.
 A mug rug to match.
 Some cute little reindeer candles.
A lovely sewing pouch and note book. I saw Simone making these pouches and thought they were a great idea. Now I have one of my own!
 Some lovely smelling soap.
How gorgeous is this table topper!
A kit in a card!
The most beautiful wall hanging. The fabrics are beautiful.
Thank you Simone for all my lovely presents. It's been lovely getting to know you.
Thank you also to Cheryll for organising this fun swap.

2012 Santa Sack Swap!

The last mailings of our 2012 Santa Sack Swap organised by Cheryll are heading all over the place.
Yesterday, my final parcel arrived from Simone. I only just managed to fit everything in! Even then, they are poking out of the top!
I've finished packing up my goodies for Simone, already for posting this afternoon.
Now for the hard part.
Waiting for Christmas Day so we can open them up!

Santa Sack and In Print!

My parcel arrived from Simone for our Santa Sack Swap. Wrapped in the most gorgeous red fabric (the colour isn't showing up very well) was this beautiful Santa Sack.
Simone has used such gorgeous fabrics. If only you could see them in person. They are so pretty.
Here's a close-up of the stitching on the front.

So now the first two presents are in my sack waiting to be joined by lots more!
I got an email from Cheryll (Gone Stitchin') on Monday asking for my autograph! I had no idea why. It turned out Homespun magazine (Vol 13, No 7) has published a photo of my sewing machine cover with the sewing mat Maria (Life on the Block) made for me in last year's Santa Sack Swap. I had forgotten I'd even sent a photo in so it was a big surprise!

OPAM for June!

Five small items were finished for my OPAM in June.
Mug Rug for my Winter Wonderland Swap.
A fat quarter bag.
Two more mug rugs using Melody Miller Echino fabrics.
I made my Santa sack for my partner Simone and now that I know she has received it, I can show you a photo. The first two presents also went with the sack. Now I hope Simone doesn't prod and poke the pressies too much. LOL!
I've been working on other bits and pieces. Retreat will be coming up soon in early August, so I want to get lots of preparation of projects done to take with me.
