Under The Tree and Some Other Gifts!

In our Six Items Christmas Swap, we had to send one gift to go under the tree. This is the hanging I made for Chez.

A low calorie cake stand!

 This is what I found under the tree from Carol. 

A beautiful table runner, along with some coasters, made in my favourite Bonnie and Camille fabrics. Thank you Carol. 

Once the Christmas table topper is packed away, 

I'll be putting this on the table.

Thank you to Tracee at Quilt Kitty Loves Life. Tracee sent me this gorgeous vintage sewing machine decal for my car. I'll have to get the boys to wash the car and then I'll put it on. Maybe I'd better do it myself or I could be 

waiting a long time! LOL!

Sisbabe sent me this gorgeous little Christmas hat ornament. Thank you Sisbabe. My Blogging Friends Christmas tree is getting quite full. I just might have to 

buy a bigger one for next year!

 The boys were very excited when this dvd arrived in the mail. I won it on Anorina's (Samelia's Mum) blog in a recent giveaway. Thank you Anorina.

My secret mortal was my lovely friend 

Cheryll of Gone Stitchin'. 

Now she has received her parcel I can show you what I sent.

A lavender bag. 

There was also added some lovely soap 

but forgot to take a photo of it.

"Something to read"

I have read this book (as well as the second one) and really enjoyed it. I hope Chez enjoys it too.

"Something to eat"

A bon bon filled with candy canes.

"Something for the sewing room"

Sewing pouch, needle case, scissors and fob, 

pins and a fat quarter.

"Something for the tree"

A button tree ornament and some angel pegs.

Of course, there is one more gift "For Under the Tree". 

You'll just have to wait to see what it is.

Six Items Christmas Swap!

 My Secret Angel in the Angels and Mortals Six Items Christmas Swap turned out to be Carol from Club Quilt Narromine. Carol was one of my first swap partners 

when I first started swapping. It was for the 

F-R-I-E-N-D-S Swap back in 2010.

 

"Something for the sewing room"

A lovely sewing pouch. 

You should see how beautiful Carol's stitching is!

Inside were some extra goodies. 

A cute stitched bird scissor keep, fat quarter, 

varigated threads, needles and a quick unpick.

"Something for the tree"

Three new additions for my special Blogging Friends tree.

"Something smelly"

Hand cream, skin softener, soap and a knitted cloth. 

I'm going to smell so nice!

"Something to read"

I've had my eye on Lynette's book for a while! 

There was also a lovely bookmark.

"Something to eat"

Yummy short breads in the cutest Christmas tree tin and a couple of coffee sachets to enjoy with the short breads. 

Carol also sent along some lollies for the boys.

 The final gift is "For Under the Tree". 

It is waiting in my sewing room as we don't want to risk putting any gifts under the tree just in case that 

cheeky Molly decides to have a chew!

My Angels and Mortals Six Items Christmas Swap gifts are all wrapped up and will be in post this afternoon. 

Of course, I can't tell you where it is going

but I hope my mortal gets a lovely surprise when it arrives.

Table Runner Swap!

My on-line Angels and Mortals group has just 

had it's Table Runner Swap.

Yesterday this lovely parcel arrived at my place. 

My angel turned out to be Marc of Daisy Jayne.

Marc has made me this lovely runner. 

The photo isn't showing the fabrics properly. 

They are so much more vibrant.

This is a little better but look so much nicer in person.

Marc also added some extra goodies.

How cute is this little thread catcher! It's the perfect size to fit into whichever project box I am working from.

I'm A Cover Girl!

My on-line Angels and Mortals group has just had a Redwork Swap. My angel turned out to be none other than the lovely Michelle of Rag Tag Stitchin'. Wasn't I excited when I saw her name on the back of the envelope!

Inside was this beautiful sewing kit. On the front was my initial beautifully embroidered. 

Inside were some lovely goodies. Scissors in a keeper, embroidery thread, buttons, lace motif, an unpicker and a matching pin cushion.

You may wonder why the title of this post is "I'm a cover girl". Well, my sewing kit is the one pictured on Michelle's new "Stitcher's Alphabet" pattern.
