Meeting Blogging Friends!

Last Saturday was our Bloggy Meet at Millrose Cottage in Ballan organised by Melody. We had the loveliest of days and it seemed like we had all known each other for years. Sharon of Lillabelle Lane, Barb of barbscreations, Shez of Enjoying Life, Melody of The House on the Side of the Hill and me.
We had a look around at all the gorgeous fabrics and then headed next door for a delicious lunch. Here we continued talking and getting to know each other even more. We then had a bit of Show and Tell. Sharon bought the biggest bag I've seen with some beautiful quilts.
Don't you just love the colours in this one!
I think this one is her "Swoon" quilt.
 How pretty is this one!
Shez bought her gorgeous dress quilt. There are lots of lovely embellisments on it. Even some feathers on the hats!
Barb bought out a bag full of the most beautiful Christmas Table Runners and hangings. Her house must be gorgeous at Christmas time.
Barb's red ripple crocheted rug.
Shez had a little gift for each of us. This is my lovely hat pin cushion. Thank you so much Shez.

After lunch we went back into the fabric store to do our purchasing. Then it was back next door for coffee and scones! Before we knew it, we realised we had been talking for over five and a half hours! It was time to say good bye but not before we arranged another meeting.
We are going to meet again on 17th November at 10.00am for a Sit and Sew Day. Michelle from Millrose Cottage is letting us use their sewing room for the day free of charge. We are going to have a little swap and if you'd like to join in (you don't have to if you don't want) please contact Melody for the details. We will have lunch next door and then continue our sewing. Everyone is welcome. Melody will post more information closer to the day.
