Friday Night With Friends, Some Sewing and Molly!

Last night was our first Friday Night With Friends sewing night over at Cheryll's. I joined in while at Austin's Twilight Little Athletics meet. I could only stitch until it got too dark to sew. Cheryll does a great job of organising great swaps and I'm sure she'll keep us in line with our FNWF sewing! Why don't you pop over here and say hello! Everyone is welcome to join in.
I worked on a secret project so that's all you can see!

Noel came home from work with a request for covers for computers, keyboards, printer and tower for the office. I went through my stash and pulled out some fabrics I know I'll never use for quilts!
Noel and Graeme run the operations office and their fabric is green paisley-like.
Joanne is in the other office so I made hers in some pretty floral fabric. I've made these to the measurements of the office computers so that's why they don't fit very well in these pictures. I hope the measurements are right. I'm not too sure about that tower cover!
Yesterday Molly had her little girl operation and was not a very happy girl! This is when we got home. She had such a sad face and absolutely hates that Elizabethan collar. The poor thing has to wear it for two weeks! But better than having to got back to the vet's for more stitches!
I did check out her stitches and the vet has done quite a neat job! This morning she was much brighter.
I found this on the floor. Can you guess what it is? A reel of cotton that must have fallen out when I was putting my stitching away.
Of course Molly had to find it first, didn't she!

Well, I'm off to do some more secret sewing.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Hugs, Christine

You've done a wonderful job on the office covers Christine. Poor wee Molly, they really do hate those collars, seems more of an ordeal than the surgery itself sometimes! Hope she is feeling better soon...

Poor Molly. Don't dogs do the best sad faces, you just can't mistake them :) Anything that keeps the dust off the computer equipment will be very well received I am sure, I think they look great :)
