Some Secret Sewing Revealed!

My mortal in the Angels and Mortals Six Items Christmas Swap turned out to be my lovely friend Shez. (See this post for my gifts from my Angel, Lynda.) It was so much fun putting Shez' gifts together.
There was something for the tree.
Shez had commented on a link Melody had given, saying how much she liked this ornament. So I made her one!
Something smelly. A lavender bag along with some soap.
Something for the sewing room. A pin cushion/thread catcher, Christmas fabric and threads.
Something to eat. A tin of almond bread. As I was hand delivering my parcel to Shez at our Mill Rosie Friends get together in November, I was able to give her almond bread. Could you imagine if I had posted her parcel! She would have had a tin of almond bread crumbs! LOL!
Something to read. A fun book with a book mark.

Something for under the tree. Even if I say so myself, the cushion looks so much nicer in person.
I made this mug rug for Simone as she loves cats.
I found this cute mug and then made the rug with the colours of the cats.
A fat quarter bag for one of Mitchell's friends. I made one for Renee last year and was telling me how great it was for keeping her dancing bits and pieces in. I asked her if she would like another one and she jumped at it!

Finally, I can finally add some secret sewing
projects to my OPAM list! Hopefully, I might get to add another one or two before the end of the year!

I love my gifts so much Christine because they are so gorgeous and another reason is because they are from you my friend.
Sorry i havent done a post on them yet.
The cushion is so sweet it is on the couch in the living room and i am amazed with this thread catcher it sits by my new machine and the scraps go straight in there but it amazes me how it just sits there and doesnt fall off the bench, lol. The almond biscotti is nearly all gone and is extremely yummy, thankyou so much my friend for making xmas a happy day.xxxx

Love all the goodies you made for Shez...starting with the little button snowman that is so cute and everything that follows. Do you have a pattern for the owl cushion? I have a friend it would be perfect for and I'd love the pattern details to track down. Cute mug and mug rug for Simone too, the colours go so well with the cats, perfect! Those little fat quarter bags are so handy and easy aren't they.

Hello Christine,

Gosh that first Snowman ornament is so cute. Lucky Shez to receive a tine full of fresh biscuits. The mug and mat you chose for Simone go so well together. Little bags are always so handy to receive. A great year of sewing for you.

Happy days.
