Friday Night With Friends!

My Friday Night With Friends actually started in the afternoon! It was too hot to do anything else
but sit and sew.
After all the Christmas stitching, I thought I'd do an applique block for a change of sewing.
I might start a collection of blocks to have handy for when I need to make something!

Yes, I too started earlier in the evening as I had company stitching. Your block looks lovely and a bit familiar....I may have done this one or something similar.

SNAP....I've just ressurected my blocks for the "Breast of friends" BOM from then Homespun mag, took me ages trying to find where I'd put the may do like you and use them for other projects instead of just have the, sitting around unfinished.I can't post pic's on my blog on what I got up to last night as blogger hasn't got the option of browsing from yoor computer to access my photo's....hope to get this sorted out soon :) Barb.

Cute block you completed.
Afternoon stitching was definitely the way to go with high temps.
Enjoy the applique.

Beautiful applique block. Handling something small like a block is much more comfortable in this definately not quilt friendly weather. Great idea getting some blocks ready for when needed. xx

Bonjour from France.

I just popped in from Cherylls' to admire your work and to wish you a Bonne Annee.

I could do with some of your sunshine, it's freezing here in the Loire Valley.

Lovely work Christine. Stay inside and sew. That will keep you away from any wandering snakes outside. Yikes!
