Another lovely night was spent stitching with friends.
I finished my Great Granny Ruby quilt! So named as I
used Bonnie and Camille's Ruby for the squares.
used Bonnie and Camille's Ruby for the squares.
I backed the quilt with some Vintage Modern.
For the quilting, I chose a flower pattern very similar to the flowers on the backing. My lovely friend Leanne (Leanne's Quilting Service) did a wonderful job of the quilting for me.
I had hoped to get a little more stitched. Unfortunately, Mitchell and Austin had been sick during the week and, being the good sharing boys they are, have kindly passed it on to me! So the plan for today is to sit by the fire, watch old movies and stitch. I don't want to over do it
and hinder my recovery!
and hinder my recovery!
Pop over to Cheryll's to see what everyone else got up to.
Have a lovely weekend!
