YJFC Sportsmans Lunch and FNWF

Friday saw Mitchell and I up at Yarrambat Junior Football Club for their 2017 Sportsmans lunch.
I was an invited guest as Secretary of the Club and
Mitchell was helping out in the bar.
One of the guest speakers was former AFL player, Brendan Fevola. Mitchell was pretty excited to meet him.
Brendan was a very entertaining speaker.
I didn't get home until after 8pm as I ended up working
in the bar. After a long day up at the Club, I really
wasn't up to doing any stitching. So I joined the girls in the
Northern Hemisphere for FNWF on Saturday.

I managed to get some more binding stitched down on my large Vintage Modern quilt. It was put aside as I had a special project to get made so I could get it to my quilter
as it is for a wedding gift in early June.
Thank you for being such a lovely hostess Chez.
You see can what everyone got up to here.

I'm surprised you still managed a bit of stitching after a busy time at the Footy Club...

I'm glad you were able to get a little stitching in. Sounds like a fun night at the "footy" (or is it "footie") club.
