Sharmayne from Country Fragrance came down
to visit for a couple of days. Part of getting together
was to plan our road trip to Baradine for Scrub Stitchin' in April.
We've booked our accommodation for there and back.
We also talked about what projects we were going to take with us.
Of course, a trip down to Melbourne had to have
some shopping! First stop was Winterwood Felt and
Craft shop in Warranwood. WOW! What a beautiful shop.
I purchased some felt to make Rosie Rabbit a coat.
It is a little more pink in real life.
Then we went to Patchwork with Gail B in Bayswater.
Even though I had warned her, I really don't think Sharmayne
Now for the wait for Scrub Stitchin'!

How fun to spend time with your friend and visit those fantastic shops. The patchwork shop looks amazing. One could, I suppose, lose a couple of hours in there. Pretty colour felt for Rosie Rabbit.
It was a wonderful time and I can’t thank you enough for taking me to visit those lovely shops! And you’re right …Gail’s was much bigger than I had expected!!
That would have been the best fun. Rosie’s coat will be so pretty and snuggly.
Seems like a great way to plan a trip! xx
Looks like you girls had fun. Great shops too.
How wonderful Christine. Gosh that Gails store looks amazing!!! I would not know where to look first. Your rabbit is going to look gorgeous in her new pink coat - if it is the Luna pattern then make the arms a bit wider - I found them very narrow & hard to get on the rabbit once I'd finished. Happy crafting Christine xx
Wonderful day out for you and Sharmayne, good you are all planned to go in April.
