Scrub Stitchin' 2026 - Part 2

We all received a goodie bag.
The butterfly is a magnet made Janice
She knows I love Tilda so she made
mine in one of the older ranges.
The name tag is also a book mark and
the orange fabrics were to make a pouch.

Besides working on my hexagons,
I also made my pouch kit.
The fabrics were Liberty cottons.
Here you can see the back fabric.
I added to my Tilda
collection along the way.

We had a Make It, Bake It, Fake It swap.
I received the gift from
I forgot to take a photo of
the gift I took to swap.

Unfold the bag and you have a larger bag.

Raewyn had added these goodies.
The blue scissor fob was made
by Raewyn's mother.
The stitching is beautiful.
It was so special to receive this.

 I was lucky enough to
win these fat quarters.

 Lots of lovely things.

Rosie and Tilly made some new friends.
Luna Lapin and Midge the Terrier.
They were made by Kylie.
We had a big Show and Tell.
All of these gnomes were made by Sharmayne.
There were so many beautiful quilts shown too.
Friday night was our special
dress-up night and dinner.
This year's the theme was
 "Your favourite book character".
Sharmayne and I love the
books by Dilly Court.
I went as "Tilly True".
Dilly's books are set in the 1800's in London.
I bought this book when I was in Scotland
and fell in love with the author.
I got Sharmayne hooked too!
I've been slowly collecting the books at
op shops, book swap places,
ebay and marketplace.
I now have 28 of them!
Ursula.
Lady Danbury (Bridgerton) and Paddington.
The Four Wally's!
These girls came all the way from Utah!
Raewyn flew over from New Zealand.
Miss Marple.
Noddy and The Gruffalo.

Special dinner.
We even made the Coonamble Times!
We had a fabulous time and
all too soon it was over.
It was sad when the time came
to say goodbye to everyone.
Now the long wait for Scrub Stitchin' 2027!

But before that I've got to start packing
for our next adventure.
We're off to Vietnam and Cambodia!
