Sewing Bits And A Giveaway!

I've been getting a little bit of sewing in lately. A fat quarter bag for a friend. I thought it might come in handy for her coming trip to England.
Because I had so much fun in last year's Santa Sack Swap hosted by Cheryll of Gone Stitchin', I've signed up for the 2012 Santa Sack Swap! Here's a little sneak peek of the Santa Sack for my partner Simone of Quilting Is My Down Time.
I've finished another block in my Christmas stitchery.

I was lucky enough to win these patterns from Lynette of Lynette Anderson Designs. Don't you just love the bag! Some more things to add to my "to do list"! Thank you Lynette.
Now I mentioned a giveaway. This is my 200th post! Plus this week my 100th follower signed up! I never thought I'd ever get that many followers!

What am I giving away? A fat quarter bag (you can never have too many little bags for sewing bits), a couple of Robyn Pandolph fat quarters and some DMC thread. The bag is actually a very pretty green but it's a bit dull here today and the photo isn't the best.

Just leave a comment and I'll have "Nelson the Number Pickerer" choose a number next Friday.

It's a long weekend here to celebrate the Queen's birthday. Don't know how much stitching I'll get done. We have a birthday party to go to tomorrow afternoon. Noel and I then head off to a 50th birthday. Mitchell is having his 16th birthday next Wednesday but we are having a family afternoon tea on Sunday. He's then having about 30 friends over for a party on Monday night (there's no school on Tuesday). I will try to get a little in if I can. Hope you all have a great weekend.

I think that you should put all the sewing away this weekend as you will be too busy. What ever spare time you have may be used to rest.
Your rain deer looks a little cheeky but cute.
Congratulations on your great win and on such a successful period of blogging.

Hi Christine,

Your reindeer is adorable. I love your stitching. 8) Also, thanks for your kind words on my blog; I think some windfall apples might be just the finishing touch my little AAQI quilt needs.

Of course I would love to win your giveaway, the prizes look yummy, but I would totally understand if you wanted to keep it domestic. Those international postal rates are ridiculous!

Take care,
Susan in Texas

Congratulations from Florida, U.S.A. Best wishes for a glorious nice weekend. The prizes are wonderful but probably costs too much to ship here, so let me just say Happy B'Day to your son.
