A Fun Day at the Craft and Quilt Fair!

Melody and I had a wonderful day at the Craft and Quilt Fair. There were some amazing quilts. Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take any photos of the quilts so we can't share our favourites with you. It was sad to see so many people disregard this request as they took photos. Here we are having a well earned cuppa!
Of course, there were lots of lovely shops to look at too. This is my little haul for the day! The main item on my list was to get the wadding for my Double Wedding Ring quilt. The poor top has been sitting in the drawer for nearly a year now! I even found the stencil I had decided I wanted to quilt so that was an added bonus. All I have to do now is baste the quilt and off I go! The other goodies were just because I liked them! Always handy to have just in case they are needed!

Thank you Melody for sharing a fun day with me.
Even the train ride there and back went quickly as we spent the time chatting!

Well I'd better go and do all the jobs I didn't do yesterday! Have a great weekend everyone.

I ended up there today and it was great. So much temptation but I stayed focused.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. We had a lovely time today too. Enjoyed the quilts and got lots of inspiration. Didn't buy too much, only what I needed (ha!). I spent my money at GJ's 25% off sale last Thursday!

Some great purchases by the look of it. Can't wait to see how the double ring wedding quilt turns out.

Nice haul of goodies there...just because is always a good reason...I'm going tomorrow (meeting Rosie), glad you mentioned the no photos thing, I won't tote the camera for nothing. Shame, I've always liked to take photos for inspiration but if they've put up the rules then so be it.
Have fun with your wedding ring quilt, fabulous that you found the stencil as well, no excuses now!...

Looks like great purchases, Well Done, and what wonderful company you were in! I noticed those "no pics" signs at the Perth Show, but heaps of people taking pics regardless. Not being too clever about these issues, why don't they like pics being taken? I'm like Annette/Jindi's, I would look at the pics as being inspiration, but I wouldn't have liked to get in trouble for doing it at the first Show I ever went to!
