I got a bit of a late start to sewing last night but managed to start cutting pieces for the chicken quilt backing.
I also did a little preparation work.
I'm going to join our friends in the Northern Hemisphere this afternoon while they are having their FNWF! Hopefully I may even managed to get the backing finished. If not, it will be an enjoyable afternoon!
PS. I think I've managed to solve my comment problem!

WooHoo... the quilt back is just as nice as the front! Why not extend the FUN into Saturday... the chooks won't mind! :)
