Good Golly, Miss Molly!

Last night I was out the back hanging washing on the line when there was an almighty crash. The first thing I thought was my crystal cabinet with all my Swarovski crystal
had been broken!
Nelson said Molly had come bounding in, jumped over the little table and crashed into the window.

Molly cut her leg and it was bleeding quite a bit. She was so good as I was bandaging her leg. She got another little cut on her left leg but that one wasn't too bad.
Ginger was on the outside of the window. She and Molly often bark at each other through the window. I think she may have tried to pick up a piece of glass and cut her tongue. It was only a small cut but still lots of blood!
Lucky I had some extra poster paper (waiting for the next project) to tape onto the window.
Comforting each other.
This morning Molly is still very subdued.
You can see the damage better here in the daylight.
On a brighter note, Nelson is off to his first teenage party tonight. Georgia is the first of his friends to turn 13. She is very into ballet, so I've made her a pouch to put her bit and pieces in, along with some gorgeous crystal earrings.
I found this gorgeous ballet shoe fabric. I've never had to look in that section before! LOL!
I lined it with some pink ribbon fabric from the same range.

Very pretty ballet pouch Christine, I hope Molly is feeling a bit more like herself today and her leg isn't hurting her too much, nothing worse than when our fur babies hurt themselves :) Barb.

Poor little Molly, what a little scatter brain. Poor Ginger too. Never a dull moment with your little girl around. Lovely stitching too.

I think Molly is looking quite sorry for what she has done! Lucky she only got a small cut, I hate to imagine how much worse she could have been.
Lovely pink purse, the fabric is beautiful

Hello Christine,

Love the pouch you made for the teenager. Glad that the dogs are OK, if its not teenager boys with cricket balls and footballs its dogs breaking windows. (our son was a good window breaker!)

Enjoy your weekend.
Bev.

The ballet gift is lovely. The fabric is great. It takes a fair force to break a window. No wonder Molly is subdued.

OMG, that must have been one hell of a jump to go throught a window...glad your doggies weren't more seriously hurt.
Your son's friend is a lucky girl - how kind you are to look for the right fabric and make something so useful and pretty.

What a relief that your dog was not badly hurt. She was lucky as those chards in the window look very sharp. Love your ballet pouch. Hugs....
