A Lovely Afternoon!

Today Mel and I met Kaye from Kitten Stitching. The plan was to meet at a lovely stitchery store and then have lunch. Unfortunately our plans went awry when Kaye's car wouldn't start (it ended up having to be towed to the car depot). Kaye doesn't live too far from where we were meeting, so Mel and I headed over to her place (getting lost on the way! LOL!). Kaye whipped some soup and quiche out of the freezer and while she was getting lunch ready,
we got to know each other.
Kaye had a gift for each of us. A bundle of fat quarters, along with scissors and a scissor keep that she had made. Mine is the pink bundle on the left.

Thank you for a lovely afternoon Kaye. It was lovely getting to know you. Mel and I both enjoyed our afternoon spent with you (which went very quickly). Hopefully, we'll make it to Lazy Daisy next time!

It doesn't really matter where stitching friends meet, it's always a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

We had such a lovely time and it was quite an education watching the tow truck driver dragging my car out of a very narrow carport! I received some lovely gifts from Christine and Melody, too - thank you ladies. We had such a lovely time! Can't wait to catch up again sometime soon!
