FNWF and Basketball Report!

Well, I didn't manage to join everyone on Friday night so I joined the girls in the Northern Hemisphere on Saturday. A needle was not picked up at all. What I did do was play with all my Christmas quilts. I took down my everyday quilts in exchange for the Christmas ones.

I have five new additions for Christmas this year.
My beautiful Christmas tree made for me by Karen of Just Purrfick for the Christmas in July Swap I've had to start another Christmas wall as this one is quite large! LOL!
This year I can display the lovely quilt (top left) Simone of Quilting is my Down Time made for me in last year's Santa Sack Swap. As I didn't open it till Christmas Day, it didn't get up onto the wall. There is also my Kookaburra Christmas I made for the Sew We Quilt HoHoHo Blog Hop.
The bottom right is the lovely card holder I got playing Naughty Santa at the Mill Rosie Friends Christmas Get Together. It was made by O'faigh of Oldbury Cottage.
This is my new Bloggy Friends Christmas Tree. All of these decorations are ones I have received over the past few years from my blogging friends in swaps or as gifts.
As I was getting a bit of a collection, I decided they deserved a tree of their own!
My new Christmas banner is up, along with the wreath (on the right) I received with my card holder from O'faigh.
The wreath on the left is one I won on O'faigh's blog a couple of Christmas' ago!
I thought I'd show you my lovely tea light holder I bought at the end of last Christmas. I had been admiring these for a while and was walking past the store one day and they were out for sale at a price too good to let go! Once the candles are lit, the little fan spins the deer around.

Now for the big news!
 Grand Final here we come!
Seven very happy and exhausted boys
plus one very excited coach!
They played so well.
It was a much fairer game than last week.
So, one more week of training and basketball to go!

OMG, where do you store all those when it's not Christmas?! What a fabulous and unique way to decorate your home, knowing who made each one makes them even more special, doesn't it? I've got one Christmas wall hanging and a couple of smaller items that I've made, but I've got a heap of fabrics and you've inspired me to do something with them in the next week or so - ha ha!
