Surprise Sewing And A Ladder!

We got some exciting news this week that there is going to be a new little addition to the MacDonald clan! I found this little elephant here and decided I had to make one. But of course, you can never just stop at one!

They were quite quick to make up.
The longest part was choosing the fabrics!

I have fallen in love with these cuties!

I forgot to show you this step ladder. Austin made it at school and came home with it on Presentation Night.
I didn't even know he was making one!

A little peek of what I am making with my Scrumptious mini charms. I need to go get some border and backing fabric to finish it off. Isn't that just awful!

Aren't those elephants just so cute! Wow - the ladder is quite the accomplishment. Have him make quilt ladders - could earn a little pocket money.

Those little elephants are so cute. You have some seriously good woodworking going on at your place, is the ladder for using or displaying? I'm sure you will be ok at the fabric shop......

Very cute Elephants.... and congrats on the new addition coming into the clan. Austin has made a great job of the stepladder, maybe you can talk him into making a plain ladder that can hold your quilts??

Dear little elephants! Thanks for the link, I've added it to the other three hundred and sixtyfive sites that I've found on your blog and Melody's blog...

Your elephants are so cute. Don't you just love when your son makes stuff? He did an awesome job on his ladder. I love how your quilt is turning out. I have some of that fabric. I guess I should get a move on and make something with it.

a great little ladder! I remember doing stuff in woodwork at school, a tray, nothing exciting or particularly fun. We all had to do the same thing. Love those elephants and congrats on the growing clan.
