We have just had our first swap in our Friends Having Fun Swaps. I was partnered up with Michelle of Rag-Tag Stitchin' and decided to make her a table topper. I know Michelle likes red so that is the colourway I chose.
I've never made a Dresden plate before and it was so much easier than I thought. I really enjoyed making it and will definitely be making more at some point.
I decided to stitch another Dresden
in the centre of the plate.
Of course, I also sent along some other goodies. Some red DMC thread as I know Michelle uses a lot of that. A block of Lindt chocolate. I though Michelle could eat one block a day for 18 days. Or 2 blocks over 9 days. Maybe 3 blocks over 6 days or even 18 blocks in one go!
Of course, I know she didn't do the last one! LOL!
Michelle also loves birds and I found
this gorgeous little ceramic hanger.
I hope you enjoy using your table topper Michelle.
I really enjoyed making it for you.
This gives me a grand total of one, yes one,
project for the month of April!

I really love the Dresden topper you made. I've been wanting to do a quilt using dresdens for years, but somehow it always gets pushed to the bottom. As for the OPAM..... you have company with the single piece this month lol
Your Dresden topper is gorgeous Christine.
The little bird cage ornament is very sweet too.
What a lovely exchange gift you put together for your partner.
