Footy Is Back and OPAM For March!

Yes, it's that time of the year again!
And Sunday is footy day.

Nelson playing a hard game crashed heads
with one of his team mates and then face planted the ground. He was quite dazed for a while.
As a precaution an ambulance was called and we headed off to the Austin Hospital. After observing him for a few hours we came home. He didn't get a headache or any signs of concussion, thank goodness.
Icing his nose!
He did have a sore nose where he hit the ground though. It is still a little swollen and a bit bruised but not broken. Luckily the oval was pretty soft.
A much happier boy now he has something to eat!

Of course, the first question he asked the doctor was
"Can I play next week?"!
You can't keep this boy away from his footy.

On a brighter note, I have four finished items
for OPAM this month.

Two fat quarter bags to be added to the present drawer.
 Along with my Christmas Hanging
 and Christmas Table Runner.

Thanks to Peg and Kris for running
One Project A Month
and keeping us inspired!

I had three heavily into all sorts of sport - and remember those ambulance rides many a time: and yes, there were times with broken bones. Lovely finishes for the month.
