We Almost Missed It!

Hi Everyone.
It's Molly here.

Did you know it's time for the Pets on Quilts 2016 Show hosted by Jacque, Padsworth and DragonDrop
over at Lily Pad Quilting

We nearly missed it as Mum Christine has been so busy helping organise Nelson's Football Best and Fairest Night.
I reminded her this morning that we needed
to get our entry ready.
Waiting for Mum to get organised.
While I'm waiting I'll show you my entry from last
year's show. I was looking after Dad Noel as he was sick.
You can read about it here
Looks like Mum is ready. This is our Chook House quilt.
For our overseas visitors who may not know, here in Australia we call chickens chooks!
I was really lucky last year and won the Dog on Quilt section. This is my prize. A "Best In Show" layer cake. Mum had planned to make me a special quilt with my layer cake by this year's show but life just got in the way. With three boys (and Dad) in the house, she is always busy.
Maybe I'll have it by next year's show!

Mum has entered me in the Dog on Quilt section again this year. Don't forget to head over to Lily Pad Quilting to see all the other wonderful pets on quilts.
Thanks for visitng.
I'm just going to have a sleep now and
dream about my new quilt.

Woofy Hugs,
Molly

So glad Molly made it to the show again this year - yes, Mum has been super busy. But you do need your own quilt with your fabric.

What a cute post...we used to have a dog, but now we are a cat household only. Your Molly reminded me of our Molly...the calm and dependable companion...so lovely

Love the chicken themed quilts, they are so fun, and there is such a variety out there. Molly, my furry friends are in a similar boat of having to wait for their quilt, I've been saying for over a year that they need their own... maybe this fall!

Molly, you are such a great model! Congrats on your win last year. I wish you luck this year as well. Thanks for letting me know that you call chickens "chooks". What do you call ducks? I'm a new follower to your blog now. You're so cute! I love the quilts you model too. :)

Hi Molly glad to see you had time to enter. We know you call chickens chooks as we are avid viewers of Masterchef Australia! Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing your new quilt. Hugs, Susie x

Molly, so good to see you here, and here in NZ we call hens chooks too. After all, a baby chook can be a chicken, but if it was a hen?? Nothing quite seems to sound right.!!! Cheers, Nancy J.

Molly looks like the dog of my dreams -- sweet and mellow, taking good care of her peeps. Your quilt is lovely. :)
