Due to a family commitment on Friday night, I joined the ladies in the Northern hemisphere on Saturday and stitched along with them. I'm a member of a little group called the Chit Chat Crafters. Sometimes we work on our own projects and other times we work on a craft project together. Yesterday was work on your own project.
I spent the day stitching down the binding on my double wedding ring quilt. Managed to get quite a bit done and now there's only about one side and a little more to go! I'd left my thimble at home so by the end of the day I had a very sore finger!
It's so much easier not stitching this at home as Rex insists on sitting on my lap or
cuddling up next to me when I'm stitching. I don't want to get this one dirty or
covered in hair as I will be putting this in our guild's quilt show in October.
We had a little visitor with us on Saturday. This is six year old Harmony with her grandmother, Silvia (my SIL). When we finished lunch, Harmony announced
she wanted to make a quilt. After checking out Silvia's fabrics, they worked out
a design and Harmony started making her first quilt.
She managed to get quite a bit done before it was time to pack up to go home.
Thank you to Wendy for hosting us.
You can see what everyone else got up to here.

Good to see the little ones learning. You are doing a great job on your wedding ring quilt
You got a lot done on the binding without your thimble. Sadly I can't wear one.
