2018 Review

A look back at my finishes for 2018.
 Santa's On His Way Hoop
Darcy's Ahoy There Me Mateys Baby Quilt.

It is with much sadness that I remember this quilt.
Darcy, my great nephew, was born in February and had a heart problem (picked up in the 20 week scan). Darcy underwent four major open heart surgeries and many other procedures. Just when he finally got out of intensive care and it looked like he had turned a corner, Darcy suffered cardiac arrest.
After fighting for 167 days, his life support was turned off and he passed away.
He was such a brave boy who has left a big hole in all our hearts.
 Bountiful Bees Table Runner
 Vintage Doily
Two Folded Stars
 Double Wedding Ring Quilt

 Two More Folded Stars
 Pin Cushion
 Needle Case
 Madelyn's Baby Quilt
 Sewing Bag
 Mini Thread Bin
Lavender Sachets
Scissor Keep
Santa Sacks

A total of 38 finishes for 2018.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year.
See you in 2019!

So many finishes! Well done. It would have been hard on all the family for Christmas time with Darcy's passing. A suportive family is so good at times like that. Arohanui
