A Tilda Cushion

This is a cushion I made for our Mystery Challenge
at the NOTYQ Quilt Show back in October.
Now that I've finally bought a cushion
insert I can share it with you.
The challenge was to make a 16" x 16" cushion cover.
I decided I would challenge myself
and do needle turn applique.
It's not perfect but I'm happy how it turned out.
It is made from the same Tilda fabrics
I am making my hexagon quilt with.
The quilt is still a work in progress.
There are seven leaves and I used
a different fabric for each of them.
I also stitched each of the nine flower stems
in a different shade of green.

That is pretty. Love the fussy cut vase too. And they go nicely with your crochet blanket.

That is a lovely finish and the colours go well with the crochet rug in the photo.
