Fifty at Last!

No, not me! Mitchell came home from cricket yesterday a very happy and tired boy. He had made his first 50 at cricket, well 53 runs actually. It's been his goal to make his half century and now he's done it. For those who don't follow cricket it is an achievement to make 50 runs and even better to make a "century" (100 runs).
I took this photo of the boys this morning as I was going to meet up with some old work friends I haven't seem for a very long time. I thought it would be nice to show them an up-to-date photo of them. Unfortunately, I left the camera at home! I thought you might like to see it instead!

Finally, it's time to vote in SewCalGal's 2011 Christmas Quilt Show (see post below). If you liked my quilt, it's number 66 (just in case you wanted to vote for mine). hehehe

Good for him. My husband accomplished 50 on Friday. I am fairly sure he's not as thrilled with his big 50!

So,Mitchell is now on his way to 100, right?
