Today ads seem to be popping up everywhere! Different words in a post, either mine or someone else's, are highlighted. If you hover the arrow over them, an ad pops up. Also, when I go to comment, if the person's blog has one of those pop up windows for comments, ads appear. Does anyone else have this happening to them? Or is it just my computer?

sounds like lots of spam,i have noticed that i seem to have more than normal but i havent had what you have,hope its stops for you,maybe you have been hacked,gee i hope not,good luck.xx

Hi Christine, this has happened to me to and I don't know why, even when I look at other blogs some words in their post are highlighted. I haven't done anything about it yet so I hope it just goes away.
YES we have it to and it is so bloody annoying and I have no idea how to get rid of it and no idea how it started... I have tried to stop it with adblock but that doesn't seem to do anything.... so if there is anyone out there please HELP us... xxx

All I have seen is the one at the bottom of the comments box (when someone has their comments open in a new window - like you - How do you change this setting?) Currently you have a Electricity Breakthough add... woops just changed now a 5 foods you must not eat! all to weird for me. Must be time for bed.
sorry can't help with your problem... I haven't seen that and I hope it doesnt happen either? Is there any commonality with changing the reader?

Christine are you using Internet Explorer? If so, trying changing to Mozilla Firefox. I had heaps of pop ups, spam, etc. while I was using I.E., but absolutely no problems since I switched to Firefox.
Mmmm, I've not experienced this...how annoying...did you find out if it is IE associated? I use Firefox and Safari and avoid Internet Explorer at all costs except in workplaces where I have no choice but then I'm not reading blogs at those places anyhow!...
