What A Weekend! (Part 1)

I picked up Mel and off we headed to Ballarat.
It was freezing and we were so excited when
we came across snow!
We found a safe place to pull over and out we got.
Mel was very brave and picked up a handful of snow.
Here's Mel talking to Allison at The Cotton Factory.
This is where Mel and I set ourselves up. It was upstairs and had such a lovely view. We didn't sit there
once over the weekend! LOL!

Libby and Jennifer enjoying their morning tea.

Mel enjoying her raspberry and white chocolate muffin.
Having a glass (or two) with dinner. This was NOTYQ's 21st retreat. I was at the very first one and have been to 17 of them. I missed three when feeding the babies and one when Nelson had his appendix out (that's when I got a 5 day holiday at the Austin Hospital!).
Sunday morning was extremely cold too.

These zombie rabbits (and one cat) kept breeding
over the weekend. As the bird bath was frozen,
they decided to go skating!

Finished flimsies and quilts were slowly added
to the rails over the weekend.
Sunday there were scones with jam and cream.

I'll show you what I worked on over the
weekend in the next post.
And yes, I did start quilting my quilt!

I have to add: It seems so odd to see snow there while we're experiencing temperatures over 100 F.! I would love to visit Australia some time!
