This morning a pair of King Parrots arrived on our bird feeder.
They come quite regularly (I guess they're the same two)
and they wait until I bring seed out to them.
Here's the female eating seed out of Nelson's hand,
which really made his day!

A package also arrived for me yesterday. It was the Itty Bitty YoYo Tree that I won on Leonie's blog Kiwi At Heart. Thank you Leonie. It is really gorgeous. Just have to wait for Christmas now to put it out.

That is special with the birds being so used to human contact. A very cute Christmas Tree,I would keep it out,a little bit of Christmas spirit is lovely.

Oh I love King Parrots! I wish we got them here, but I think we're just a little too northward for them. How fantastic that Nelson got to feed one by hand!!!! Awesome!
