Exciting News, Patchwork Teahouse and FNSI

I have such exciting news! Mitchell has secured himself a Landscaping Apprenticeship just up the road from school in one of the big new estates. He will be working on lots of new parks and wetlands that are going all throughout the estate and will start in January. What's amazing is this was the first apprenticeship he applied for!

It's certainly been a big week for Mitchell.
Graduating and getting a job!

Mel and I had a wonderful day with the NOTYQ
ladies at the Patchwork Teahouse.
First up was morning tea. Scones with jam and cream!
Just to prove that Mel did sit down and stitch!
These two little piggies joined us at afternoon tea.
I did manage a little stitching.

I got a little stitching done at FNSI.
Although not much more from during the day. Once Mitchell had given us his news (he hadn't called us as he had run out of credit!) I was too excited to stitch!

Thanks again to Wendy for hosting us.
You can see what the others got up to here.
Just to finish off (because what's one more photo).
This is how I found Austin last night.
Sitting in the bath looking at his facebook!

Hello Christine,

Congrats to Mitchell on obtaining his apprenticeship.Love those little piggies that shared lunch with you and Melody.
Smiled at the last photo, if you wanted him to move you may have had to only ask him to clean it!!

Merry Christmas Christine, hope you and the family have a wonderful time together.

Happy days.
Bev.

Huge congratulations to Mitchell, what an achievement. You must all be bubbling over with pride and excitement. I'm glad Austin found a comfy place ( although I'm sure the rest of us would prefer to slouch on the couch!) And what lovely outings you girls have! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Christine.

Congratulations to Mitchell! Wonderful news! I love your alphabet. It looks familiar somehow, but I don't know why ... unless it's Jenny Reynolds' design? You are doing very nice stitching on it anyway. I love redwork! Thank you for not embedding comments, because then I couldn't leave one for you!
