Last night I finished my Splendid Sampler
block by Gail Pan.
Then I spent time going through my button jars to find
the right little button for my Splendid Sampler
block by Jenny. Found the perfect one!
My sewing came to a stop when I had to do some cleaning up. I was carrying the two jars back to my sewing room when I knocked the both of them lightly together. The bottom then fell out of the smaller jar. Lucky it wasn't the other one. It's a bit hard to see but the jar is actually a bear.
Thanks to Cheryll for hosting us last night.

I have 2 of those bear jars. I think they had peanut butter in them... they are fun
Your block looks great. Sorry to hear about the mishap.
That block is just gorgeous.
just love the stitcheries...
I hope you didn't cut yourself? Beautiful blocks. ❤️
Oh no, re the broken jar - at least buttons would be relatively easy to pick up, I would imagine. Lovely work on your stitcheries, my dear.

Love your blocks beautiful stitching Christine :)
Both look lovely Christine!
Your stitcheries are beautiful Christine, great to find just the right button. That was a surprise the jar breaking, hopefully the buttons didn't spread everywhere and there were no glass fragments.

So adorable! I think I need some Gail Pan in my life too. You really did a nice job on these blocks - good fabric and color choices.
