Christmas Crafting Day

Well, there are only about 49 weeks to go!
Saturday saw eight of us head to a friend's house where we all made Christmas Table Centres. Taking advantage of the after Christmas sales, lots of baubles were purchased.
We had lots of fun.
Only one burnt finger from the hot glue gun!
This is my one.
Even though this isn't a sewing project,
I'm going to add it to my OPAM list for 2017!
 Afternoon tea time!
Our second project was a Hershey's Christmas Tree.
This part was a little fiddly.
 The tree!
All that is needed is a couple of little block
chocolates to make the tree base.
These trees were designed by
Brenda Quintana at QBee's Quest
You can find her tutorial here.

Well, you can never be too early for Christmas crafting!

Those trees are a great idea.. You need to store those beautiful table centres safely. Not too hot so the candles melt. They look lovely...

Great idea getting started early for Christmas.... perhaps I should start now too and be a bit more organised this year! The only trouble is that those chocolates would have been eaten before December comes around!! Christine x

As far as I am concerned, Christmas is done and dusted for a few months. So admire you girls for your year long Christmas creations - you can't possibly have the mad panic stricken creative attempts at the last minute! LOL
Really like your table decoration - it is lovely.

Hi Christine, you are soooo right - the after christmas sales are a great chance to pick up some specials!!! I love all that you have created, I think the trees are a great idea to give someone choccie treats in a special way. I would have to make the trees & add the chocs at the end of the year or I would be tempted to eat them !!!!!!
